PhD at UC Berkeley Says This One Thing Can Make You Live Longer.

  1. Sleep in total darkness. The darker the room, the better. If you bedroom isn’t dark enough, try a sleep mask. I’ve also found that a black shirt across my eyes works even better.
  2. Keep the room cool. I’ve found that about 65 degrees is best.
  3. Go to sleep at the same time every night. Even on weekends. This last part is key. Staying up late on weekends can mess up your rhythms, and make it harder to fall asleep on Sunday night.

So, now you know that you need to sleep.
